Here are the list of new Trekking Peaks that has
been given to NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association). NMA now owns
33 Peaks under its authority to issue permit.
Government has also announced 13 new Peaks open for Mountaineering
in Nepal.
Please note with the addition of the 15 peaks for Nepal Mountaineering
Association, NMA has 33 peaks under its authority.

The following Expedition Rules applies for these
new 15 peaks.
1. US$ 500 permit for upto 7 members.
2. US$ 100 per person over 7-12 person.
3. Over 12 person new permit will apply.
4. Every team has to deposit US$ 250 as garbage deposit for all
the old
18 and new 15 peaks.
In essence, the Mountaineering Regulation of Ministry of Tourism
applies to
the new 15 peaks and the garbage deposit to all the old and new
peaks.
